Deadly Bomb Targets German Troops In Afghanistan


International troops in Afghanistan (file photo) (Courtesy Photo) 22 February 2006 -- A bomb exploded near a convoy of NATO security forces in northern Afghanistan today, killing an Afghan and wounding at least eight others.


Germany's Defense Ministry says that a German soldier was among those wounded in the bombing.


The ministry says the bomb exploded near a market in the city of Kunduz where three German army vehicles had stopped.
