Iranian Parliament Speaker In Kyrgyzstan


(RFE/RL) PRAGUE, 13 September 2006 (RFE/RL) -- The speaker of Iran's parliament, Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, has started an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.

Haddad-Adel, who arrived in Bishkek flew in from Armenia late on September 12, has met his Kyrgyz counterpart, Marat Sultanov.

He is due to have talks with President Kurmanbek Bakiev, Prime Minister Feliks Kulov, and other officials.
