Iran, Norway Sign Oil Deal


An Iranian oil facility (Fars) September 18, 2006 -- Iranian state television says Iran and Norwegian firm Norsk Hydro have signed a deal to explore a major onshore oil field, at Khorramabad  in western Iran.


The initial investment of $49.5 million could rise to $107.5 million.


It was not disclosed when the agreement was signed.
