Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad says he is ready to resume talks with the United States on Tehran's nuclear program as long as certain conditions are met.

Speaking in Nigeria after a summit of the D8 group of developing nations, Ahmadinejad said Washington first needs to make its position on Israel's nuclear strategy clear.

Israel is widely assumed to have the only nuclear arsenal in the region.
