Afghan officials say a bomb attached to a donkey has killed a policeman and wounded three civilians in eastern Afghanistan.
A local government spokesman, Sarhadi Zwak, said the donkey blew up in front of a police security post in the Alingar district of Laghman Province early on April 5.
The spokesman said the bomb was remotely detonated.
He blamed the attack on Taliban militants, which have used donkeys for bomb attacks in the past.
This latest incident comes after a group of Taliban suicide attackers mounted an assault in Farah Province on April 3, killing some 53 people and injuring up to 100.
It was the deadliest militant attack in over a year.
