Three Afghan civilians were killed during a clash between Afghan and Pakistani border troops near the Torkham border crossing, a spokesman for the de facto Taliban government in Kabul said on August 13. The clash occurred late on August 12, with Pakistani troops opening fire on Afghan forces, a spokesman for the Taliban Interior Ministry said, adding that a woman and two children were killed in the incident.
