Afghan Lawmakers Brawl As New Speaker Tries To Take Seat

Chaos erupted in Afghanistan's lower house of parliament when a group of lawmakers tried to block businessman Mir Rahman Rahmani from taking the speaker's seat following a disputed vote in the house. Video from June 19 showed angry lawmakers flipping the speaker's desk and smashing the speaker's chair to prevent him from taking up the post.
