Three Chinese Citizens Killed In Afghanistan


The Chinese Embassy in Kabul says three Chinese citizens have been killed in the Afghan capital, while another two remain missing.

The embassy said in a statement that the incident took place in an apartment building in Kabul.

It said the unidentified Chinese citizens were deliberately targeted.

It did not reveal any further details.

The statement urged the Afghan government to take immediate measures to investigate the crime and apprehend the culprits.

China has made large investments in Afghanistan’s mineral sector.

Many Chinese mining companies have Chinese workers stationed across the country.
