China Paper Urges Europe Get Act Together On Debt Crisis

China's top newspaper has called on European countries to act decisively to resolve the eurozone debt crisis or risk having some member states forced out of the single currency.

The call came in the overseas edition of the "People's Daily," the official paper of the ruling Communist Party.

China remains willing to invest in Europe but wants rich economies to show they are serious about tackling debt, Premier Wen Jiabao said last month.
