Zurabishvili Says Georgia 'United' Against Russia As She Joins Pro-EU Protests
Georgia's fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, said the country has remained united against external Russian influence as she joined pro-EU protests in the western city of Zugdidi. Zurabishvili says she remains the legitimate Georgian president despite being replaced by former soccer player Mikheil Kavelashvili on December 29 by a new electoral college controlled by the ruling Georgian Dream party.
