Hundreds of Christians marched in the city of Islamabad on December 1 to mark the beginning of Christmas festivities. At the first rally of its kind in the Pakistani capital, participants played Christian songs through megaphones and chanted in praise of Jesus Christ. The predominantly Muslim country's small Christian community usually restricts religious displays to their places of worship.
