Protests In Montenegro Over Amendments To Religion Law

Thousands of people protested in front of Montenegro's parliament on December 28 as lawmakers debated changing a controversial law on religion. The protesters chanted slogans accusing the government of putting Montenegrin property in the hands of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian state.
