Pakistani Authorities Give Conflicting Statements On Shooting Of Chinese Nationals
Gunmen on a motorbike opened fire on a car in Karachi, Pakistan, wounding two Chinese nationals and their local driver. An initial police report said one of the Chinese men was a nuclear engineer working at the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant. He's said to be in serious condition with three bullet wounds. The condition of the other two men was not clear. A later police report identified both Chinese men as "factory workers," omitting the reference to the power plant.
