Bomb Kills Driver, Injures Two Children In Pakistan

Police said a roadside bomb exploded near a school bus in the city of Peshawar in northwest Pakistan today, killing the driver and wounding at least two children.

Peshawar lies near the tribal regions of Pakistan and the Afghan border where Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants are active.

The bus was hit in a busy neighborhood and police did not rule out the possibility that the bomb may have missed its intended target.

Militants use roadside bombs against U.S. troops in Afghanistan and government troops in northwest Pakistan.
