Embattled Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi has warned of possible attacks in Europe unless NATO halts its campaign of air strikes against his regime in Libya.
The Associated Press reports that Qaddafi delivered the warning in an audio message played to supporters gathered in Tripoli.
Addressing the West, Qaddafi said Libyans might take revenge: "These people [the Libyans] are able to one day take this battle...to Europe, to target your homes, offices, families, which would become legitimate military targets, like you have targeted our homes."
Earlier this week, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Qaddafi and his son, as well as Libya's intelligence chief, for alleged crimes against humanity.
International prosecutors say Libyan troops fired on civilian protesters during anti-Qaddafi demonstrations earlier this year.
