Search and rescue teams in Tajikistan discovered the bodies of a woman and her newborn baby, along with two additional victims, on August 30, raising the official death toll from the flash floods that struck the country to 21. Intense rainfall in the Vazlob district of Dushanbe on August 27 triggered landslides and flash floods in areas surrounding the capital.
