OSH, Kyrgyzstan -- Three members of Kyrgyzstan's National Opposition Movement (UOK) have reportedly been attacked and threatened by dozens of unknown attackers in the southern city of Osh.
Former regional police chief Abdylda Keldibaev told RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service that three UOK activists were at his home in the evening of April 9 when some 100 young men storm the house and attacked the three.
Kadyrov said the attackers warned the three activists -- Kubanychbek Kadyrov, Bektur Asanov, and Ulukbek Mamataev -- that they must leave Osh "if they want to stay alive."
The three activists have since left the city for Jalal-Abad, also in southern Kyrgyzstan.
The spokesman for the Osh city police, Zamir Sydykov, said an investigation had been launched into the incident.
The UOK has said that it plans to hold an antigovernment protest in Jalal-Abad on April 11.
