U.S. prosecutors have accused the Chinese company Pangang Group with conspiracy to commit economic espionage and other charges including plotting to steal industrial trade secrets.
An indictment unsealed on February 8 alleged that Pangang, a state-owned steel manufacturer, worked with a California businessman and others to obtain several valuable trade secrets from DuPont.
Three other subsidiaries of Pangang were also indicted.
