European Council President Herman Van Rompuy is visiting the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, on May 14, where he is due to hold talks with the Georgian leadership.
Van Rompuy is scheduled to sit down with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Giorgi Margvelashvili.
He will also deliver a speech at the Europe House in Tbilisi.
The visit comes ahead of the signing of an Association Agreement between Georgia and the EU next month.
On May 13, during a visit to Moldova, Van Rompuy invited Chisinau to sign its own Association Agreement with the bloc on June 27.
In a speech after talks with Moldovan Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, Van Rompuy reiterated that Moldova belongs in Europe "by history, by geography, by its way of life, by culture."
