In a speech before the UN General Assembly, Margaryan also said the international community should work harder to help prevent regional conflicts. He said those directly involved in these disputes should approach one another with respect.
Margaryan said his government has been trying to do just that in the dispute with neighboring Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh. But he said those efforts are being hampered by Azerbaijan's blockade of part of Armenia.
