No Word Of Abducted Russian Diplomats

(RFE/RL) June 5, 2006 -- Russia said today it has failed to glean any information about the fate of four of its diplomats who were kidnapped in Baghdad on June 3.

One diplomat was killed in the attack. He was named today by the parliamentary paper "Rossiiskaya gazeta" as Vitaly Titov.

A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Russia is in constant contact with the Iraqi authorities and "all possible means are being used" to find information about the diplomats.
