Tymoshenko's party and its allies in the Orange Revolution -- President Viktor Yushchenko's Our Ukraine and the Socialist Party -- have been in talks for weeks but have failed to form a government amid disagreements over the distribution of key posts.
On June 13, Our Ukraine called for talks between all parties that won seats in parliament in March elections.
Tymoshenko accused Our Ukraine of using talks with its former allies as a "smokescreen" to hide what she maintains is a plan to team up with the Party of the Regions, which won the largest number of votes in the election.
Yushchenko on June 14 called for the immediate formation of a governing coalition.
