Also on the list are Izzat Ibrahim al-Duri, Hussein's chief deputy, who is still at large and suspected to be helping finance the insurgency in Iraq, and Abu Ayyub al-Masri, the new leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, who replaced Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi. Al-Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. air strike on June 7.
Al-Rubay'i also said that al-Zarqawi's body has been buried in accordance with Islamic traditions at an undisclosed location in Iraq.
