PAD aims at helping develop contacts between Uzbek and Western scholars.
The decision was made upon a recommendation from the Justice Ministry, which on August 28 accused the group of proselytizing among local Muslims and Orthodox Christians.
(RFE/RL) August 30, 2006 -- Reports from Uzbekistan say the Tashkent City Court has revoked the accreditation of 14 members of a U.S.-based nongovernmental organization, the Partnership in Academics and Development (PAD).
