Paktika provincial deputy police chief Farouq Sangari said the strike was carried out by international military planes called in by Afghan security forces.
He said six other militants were captured following the October 6 fighting, among them one national from Uzbekistan.
He said the Uzbek prisoner told authorities all the fighters killed were from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Chechnya.
