Kerry Holds Talks In Islamabad

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Islamabad late on July 31 for talks with members of Pakistan's new government. During the visit, which was not announced in advance, Kerry is expected to discuss efforts to stabilize neighboring Afghanistan and to try to ease tensions over U.S. drone strikes inside Pakistan.
