Freed RFE/RL Journalist Vows To Fight For Justice And Continue Investigations

RFE/RL journalist Khadija Ismayilova says she will keep fighting to clear her name and to support the work of her colleagues in Azerbaijan. She was held on a series of charges which international observers said were retribution for her investigative reporting on corruption connected to Azerbaijan's ruling family. In an interview a day after her release from prison, Ismayilova called for the reopening of RFE/RL's Baku bureau, which was raided and shut down by Azerbaijani authorities in December 2014.
