Russian investigators say the second of two female suicide bombers responsible for the deadly Moscow subway bombings has been identified as a 28-year-old teacher from the North Caucasus.
The two suicide attackers killed some 40 people and wounded over 100 in the subway during rush hour in the Russian capital on March 29.
Maryam Sharipova's father told investigators he recognized his daughter in photographs.
Investigators earlier identified the other bomber as 17-year-old Dzhanet Abdurakhmanova, a widow of an Islamic militant killed by Russian forces. Both women were from the predominantly Muslim province of Daghestan in the North Caucasus.
