Ukrainians had mixed reactions to the phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 18 where the leaders discussed a possible cease-fire in Ukraine.

Speaking to RFE/RL, some said they were hopeful but others questioned whether Russia could be trusted after its continued strikes on Ukraine.
