Amid the escalating violence in Syria, Gevorg Payasian and his family left their homes in Aleppo and sought refuge in Armenia. Yerevan has tried to smooth the transition for ethnic Armenians by streamlining the citizenship application process. But the Payasians are struggling to adapt and build a new life in a new country.
