Crimean Tatars Detained After Russian Raids

Crimean Tatars confronted Russian security forces as homes were searched in and around the city of Simferopol. Twenty people were detained in what Russian officials said was a sweep for suspects of a banned Islamic group. But many believe Crimean Tatars have been targeted for speaking out against Russian rule in the peninsula annexed from Ukraine.
