A court in Russia’s Far Eastern region of Primorye has sentenced a Jehovah's Witness to 6 years and 2 months in prison amid a continued crackdown on the religious group. Russia banned the Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2017 and designated the religion an extremist organization.
