Three men from Kazakhstan's southeastern city of Taldyqorghan who survived torture after they were arrested during anti-government protests in January last year, have demanded the police officers who assaulted them face justice. Azamat Batyrbaev, Askhat Aqashev, and Zhaqsylyq Sovetbekov told reporters in Almaty on March 14 that none of the law enforcement officers who tortured them had been held responsible.
