The death toll has risen to nine after an overnight attack on Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency office in the southern town of Sukkur.
Officials said on July 25 the dead include five attackers, and four police and intelligence officers.
Officials had previously put the death toll at seven.
The attack began on July 24 after sundown as Muslims were breaking their daily Ramadan fast. Fighting continued into the early hours of July 24.
Sindh Province Information Minister Shirjeel Mamon said the gunmen attacked an army intelligence building close to the offices and homes of local judicial and government officials.
The militants briefly seized one building. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
The ISI is Pakistan's top spy agency. Islamist militants have attacked its offices several times in the past.
