Russia has banned entry to 54 British nationals, including Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), and journalists from the BBC and other media outlets in response to U.K. sanctions against its citizens and enterprises, the Foreign Ministry said on August 18. The ICC issued an arrest warrant in March for Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of a war crime over the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.
