Emergency officials in Russia's southwestern Krasnodar region said on July 23 that a woman who was injured in a suspected gas explosion that completely leveled a shopping center in the city of Apsheronsk a day earlier had died in the hospital. Two other people remain in the hospital, while rescue workers continue to search for survivors or bodies under the debris.
