An explosion that occurred on November 11 at a gunpowder factory in Russia's Tambov region is being investigated as a a terrorist attack, the Russian newspaper Kommersant reported. The explosion in Kotovsk, some 480 kilometers southeast of Moscow and some 600 kilometers east of the Ukrainian border, started a fire that destroyed a 300-square-meter area but caused no injuries, according to Russian authorities. The Baza channel on Telegram said the explosion was caused by a drone. Kommersant reported, citing sources, that investigators had found fragments of a drone that hit the factory, one of Russia's largest producers of gunpowder.
