Russia's agency for supervising penitentiaries says a jailed member of the Pussy Riot art collective, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, is on her way to a new penal colony.

The announcement on November 8 says Tolokonnikova has no complaints and her state of health is satisfactory.

No information about her current location or that of her new penitentiary was given.

Amnesty International urged Russian authorities on November 6 to disclose Tolokonnikova's whereabouts.

Her location has been unknown since October 22, shortly after she went on a hunger strike complaining of threats from prison officials and bad jail conditions.

Tolokonnikova's husband has quoted a prison official as saying she had been transferred to a prison in Siberia, thousands of kilometers from her family.

Tolokonnikova is serving a two-year prison sentence for hooliganism for a 2012 performance in a Moscow cathedral that criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin.
