Ukrainian Activists Rally In Support Of Beaten Journalist

Ukrainian activists demonstrated in Kyiv on December 25 to demand a fair investigation into the beating of opposition journalist Tetyana Chornovil during the previous night. Chornovil was dragged out of her car by unknown attackers, beaten, and left in a ditch. Her supporters gathered in front of the Interior Ministry and also called for the dismissal of Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko. (RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service)
