Protesters Outside Ukrainian Parliament Demand Government Resignation

Thousands of Ukrainian protesters demonstrated outside the parliament building in Kyiv as opposition lawmakers sought the government's resignation in response to President Viktor Yanukovych's refusal to sign an agreement on closer ties with the European Union. The demonstrators chanted, "Police -- with the people!" and "Down with the gang!"
