Berezovskii sold the newspaper to Konstantin Remchukov, an aide to Russian Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref, and to Remchukov's wife Yelena.
Remchukov vowed to provide "quality interpretation and analysis of information...and maintain [the newspaper's] democratic policy."
Remchukov said he did not foresee any major changes in staffing at the newspaper.
Berezovskii, who lives in London, sent representatives to Moscow to sign the deal.
