Activists Join Astrakhan Hunger Striker In Solidarity

Some 20 local activists have joined Oleg Shein, an opposition Astrakhan mayoral candidate, on hunger strike in an effort to get the results overturned. The activists, who have refused to take solid food since March 16, are now being joined by others, including prominent opposition figures. (RFE/RL's Russian Service)
