Russian Rights Activist Recounts Police Beating

Police and local government officials raided the Moscow offices of the NGO For Human Rights on the night of June 21, ordering staff to vacate the building. In an interview with RFE/RL's Russian Service in Moscow, rights activist Lev Ponomaryov described how plainclothes officials beat him during the raid.
