Nastya Buryk, a young girl from Odesa, was diagnosed with leukemia six months after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Her mother took her to Israel, where better treatment was available than in their war-torn home country. But after more than two years of fighting cancer, Nastya and her mother were caught in an Iranian air strike against Israel.
