Traffic Jam At Lachin Corridor As Ethnic Armenians Flee Nagorno-Karabakh
Almost 5,000 people from Nagorno-Karabakh had crossed into Armenia as of midday on September 25, according to the Armenian government as it rushed to accommodate the influx of refugees. Azerbaijan reclaimed control over Nagorno-Karabakh after launching an assault on September 19. Ethnic Armenian separatist forces surrendered following a decades-long struggle that included two major wars fought over control of the region.
