Attacks across Iraq have killed nearly 20 people.
Police said an explosion outside a cafe in the town of Buhriz, about 60 kilometers north of Baghdad, killed 12 people and wounded 24.
Also, a roadside bomb targeted an army patrol just south of the capital, killing one Iraqi soldier and wounded two others, while in Baghdad's eastern Basmaya district a bomb at an outdoor market killed three people and wounded seven.
Also in the southwestern suburbs of Baghdad, a roadside bomb struck a car carrying anti-Al-Qaeda Sunni fighters, killing two people and wounding three others.
Violence in Iraq is at the highest level in more than five years and the capital has been targeted almost daily.
More than 8,000 people have been killed this year, the United Nations says.
