Kazakhstan To Start Transporting Oil To Germany Via Russian Pipeline In January


Kazakhstan plans to launch a pilot project next month that would transport oil to Germany via Russia's major Druzhba (Friendship) pipeline amid a ban by EU countries on the vast majority of imports of Russian oil over Moscow's ongoing unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Kazakhstan's QazMunaiGaz energy giant said on December 21 that the pilot project had been agreed with German officials and a test in transporting Kazakh oil to a refinery in Germany's northeastern city of Schwedt will start in January.
