Pakistani Passenger Jet Crashes Near Karachi

A Pakistani International Airlines aircraft with at least 99 people on board crashed on May 22 into a residential area in the southern port city of Karachi after experiencing technical problems. The number of casualties is not yet clear. The pilot had reported technical problems before the crash.
