Russian Air Assaults On Ukraine Cause Brief Power Outage In Moldova

Russian missile strikes on Ukraine caused a brief power outage throughout neighboring Moldova on November 15. Officials said power was cut in the late afternoon after a line supplying electricity was taken out of service automatically. Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu said later in the day that the electricity supply had been "restored in most localities." He added that the risk of power cuts remained high. President Maia Sandu denounced the attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure, saying they also affected large numbers of people outside the country.
