Putin praises Academy of Sciences and says its infrastructure must be raised to a new level.

Calls for legislation to promote development of artificial intelligence, robots, pilotless aviation, etc.

Says universities and commercial firms must become "partners" of schools.

Turns to education, says "the future of Russia is being formed in the classroom." Calls for modern, quality education for all children at all levels.

"When you listen to Putin, you understand that other presidential candidates are such kids that they can only be entrusted with managing a small farm. But even so, only as an experiment."

Praises noncommercial organizations and volunteer work. Says they are crucial to making Russia "a single people." Also says it is impossible to overemphasize the role of culture. Calls for development of regional cultural/museum centers. Calls for exhibition halls in the regions where major museums could send travelling exhibitions.
